Hurrah!
This weekend I went home and found that Interweave Knits and Knitscene had been delivered to my parent's home by Angel Yarns.
I have decided on my next projects:
From Interweave Knits:
This is Bianca's Jacket from Interweave Knits. Not a top priority knit but I need more smartish cardigan-top things and
This is cute but I think I would have to make alterations. I'd make the body longer, for my comfort, and I'd leave out the pockets. Because they really look shite. Apart from that I think it would look really cute in a cotton-y yarn, Rowan's all seasons perhaps.
OK, so this I adore. I have to admit it has had to grow on me, but then most of the projects included here from Interweave have. I love the little patterns, the shape of the jumper, the colours.
This is a definate and one of the first things I will be making.
This is cute, and looks fun. I enjoy lace but don't do it nearly often enough. Again, I would make it longer in the body.
This is what I bought the magazine for, but there are a few factors that deter me from even buying the yarn for it. For starters, I would never wear it and I don't know anyone else who would either. Secondly, I think the lace might drive me bonkers. Thirdly, it looks far too small, but I'm sure this could be remedied.
This has totally grown on me. At first I thought it would be a fun to knit, but gay to wear think. Now I just don't care.
So loads there to keep me going huh?
On to Knitscene.
Yes, yes I know this looks utterly hideous now, but loose the bizare neck
line and it could be beautiful.
Lose the flowers (seriously, wtf) and possibly change the colour, and you could have something delightful on your needles.
But seriously, what is up with those flowers?
